According to a police report, the men were gone by the time officers arrived, but police asked the Metro Transit Center to review surveillance video on the bus to verify the woman's story.

4 About $300 worth of tools were stolen from a work truck around 8:29 p.m. April 11 in the 500 block of North West Avenue. A police report said the man who called in the theft did not have any suspect information.

5 Police gave an injured woman a ride home after she reportedly threw out her back while on a walk around 10:07 p.m. April 11 in the 300 block of West North Street.

6 An anonymous caller reported seeing a driver speed over construction barricades, blow out the car's tires and somehow continue driving around 10:53 p.m. April near MacArthur Road and South Grandview Boulevard. The car was gone by the time officers arrived, a police report said.

7 Police arrested a man who reportedly tried to break into his ex-girlfriend's apartment by kicking down her balcony door around 12:19 a.m. April 12 in the 1900 block of South Grand Avenue. No injuries were mentioned in a police report.

8 A caller reported seeing a man stepping into traffic and "flipping off" passing cars around 12:49 a.m. April 12 near White Rock Avenue and East Main Street. Police found the man behind a nearby restaurant and advised him of his behavior, an incident report said.

9 A 33-year-old woman suffered injuries to her head and knee in a two-car accident around 3:17 p.m. April 12 near East Racine Avenue and Highway 164. An incident report did not indicate whether any citations were issued for the crash.

11 A man fell asleep while reading the Bible while his car was idling outside a funeral home around 7:15 p.m. April 12 near Hoover and South Grand avenues. According to a police report, an anonymous caller saw the man and tried to wake him by knocking on the car's driver-side window but got no response. Police determined there was nothing suspicious about the incident, the report said.

12 The fire department assisted a 70-year-old man who had some kind of "medical episode" when he passed out after a few drinks at the bar inside Meiji Cuisine, 2503 Plaza Court, around 8:28 p.m. April 12. The issue was related to the man's diabetes, an incident report said.

13 A possibly intoxicated man involved in a Brookfield car accident was arrested a short while later at Subway, 215 W. Main St., after he became belligerent with an employee there around 8:36 p.m. April 12. Brookfield police responded to the restaurant, a police report said, and arrested the man after he admitted to being the driver in the crash.

14 A woman told police around 10:30 a.m. April 13 that one of her neighbors in an apartment complex in the 100 block of Corrina Boulevard sexually assaulted her late last month. According to a police report, the woman said the man touched her inappropriately. She told officers she intended to obtain a restraining order.

15 Two men began fighting inside Walmart, 2000 S. West Ave., after one of them walked in front of the other's shopping cart and they exchanged "derogatory remarks" around 2:23 p.m. April 13. A police report said neither man wanted to file a complaint against the other. Officers advised them on their behavior.

16 An anonymous caller reported seeing approximately 10 suspicious teenagers "dancing and smoking" in the bed of a truck around 5:35 p.m. April 13 in the 700 block of North Hartwell Avenue. One arrest was made, a police report said.

17 Police arrested a man who reportedly punched his girlfriend in the face, then threw her into a wall, around 1:32 a.m. April 14 at an apartment in the 1000 block of Pewaukee Road. A police report did not indicate whether the man was cited or criminally charged.

18 An anonymous caller reported seeing a male and a female smoking marijuana behind the bathrooms at Frame Park, 1200 White Rock Ave., around 3:27 p.m. April 14. The two were gone by the time officers arrived, according to a police report.

19 Police advised a man who returned home around 5:36 p.m. April 14 to his apartment in the 300 block of Mountain Avenue, opened his patio door and said, "(Expletive) you, Mountain Village apartments," then began blasting music to the chagrin of his neighbor. The neighbor reported the incident, a police report said, and told officers he had tried to deal with the issue on three previous occasions. No citations were issued.

20 An anonymous caller reported seeing an unidentified man urinating into the gas tank of a car around 5:38 p.m. April 14 outside a residence in the 1200 block of South Grandview Boulevard. The man was gone by the time officers arrived, according to a police report, and the caller did not answer their phone when called back for more information.
