1 A woman said she was punched in the face by her boyfriend at 1116 Madison St. at 3:13 p.m. Jan. 7. However, the victim did not want to file a complaint for the incident and was not cooperative with the investigation.

2 A caller reported tenants in an apartment unit at 1815 Kensington Drive were using marijuana at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 7. Police could smell marijuana upon entering the complex but did not find or smell marijuana in the particular unit. The caller was told to contact police again if she notices people smoking marijuana and was also advised to contact apartment management.

3 A man was removed from Meli restaurant/bar, 294 W. Main St., at 10:20 p.m. Jan. 7 after he became disruptive with staff. After the owner had the man removed from the bar and told he would be arrested if he returned, the man returned and wouldn't leave. He eventually left again and walked down the alley.

4 A man was caught drinking two cans of beer in a bathroom at the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave., at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 8. He fled before officers arrived.

5 A person pretending to be a We Energies employee called a resident in the 1100 block of South Grand Avenue at 3:27 p.m. Jan. 8 and claimed the utility was going to shut his service off if he didn't give them his credit card information. We Energies confirmed the call was a scam and no transaction of money occurred, but the caller was concerned that elderly people might be scammed out of money.

6 French vanilla coffee cream, a vodka bottle, beer and orange juice were stolen from a locked car at 709 N. Grandview Blvd. between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 8.

7 A caller reported homeless people were in a bathroom by a playground, 1200 White Rock Ave., drinking beer and trading prescription pills at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 9. They were gone when police arrived.

8 Loose change was stolen from two unlocked vehicles in the driveway at 2609 Lavine Lane prior to 11:01 a.m. Jan. 9.

9 Coins stored in a small helmet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway at 2608 Fox Court prior to 1:45 p.m. Jan. 9.

10 An outdoor vacuum machine was smashed and money was stolen from the coin box at Shell gas station, 1635 E. Main St., prior to 1:18 p.m. Jan. 10.

11 A man was taken into custody for a probation violation after he was found on the second level stairwell of the Waukesha Metro Transit Center, 212 E. St. Paul Ave., with an open intoxicant at 1:46 a.m. Jan. 11. A condition of the man's probation included no drinking.

12 A male who had been drinking was taken into custody after a woman said he struck her at 815 Aurora St. at 2:09 a.m. Jan. 11. He fled the residence but was later found.

13 A caller said his girlfriend who lives with him at an apartment at 1430 Big Bend Road struck him while he was sleeping and broke a coffee cup and other items off the night stand at 9:19 a.m. Jan. 11. The disturbance was reportedly over a breakup. The woman was taken into custody.

14 An employee at Wisconsin Coach Lines, 1520 Arcadian Ave., reportedly stole money from the business prior to 10:31 a.m. Jan. 11. Staff was going to talk over their options with the company's president over whether they wanted to press charges.

15 A woman said she was sexually assaulted by her boyfriend at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at an apartment at 747 W. St. Paul Ave. The man was taken into custody.

16 Two people dressed in all black were seen going through at least four cars at 1217 Wisteria Lane at 10:52 p.m. Jan. 11. At least one person was taken into custody.

17 A caller thought it was suspicious a vehicle near the Sentry Foods parking lot, 701 Meadowbrook Road, had been parked there for three hours and was currently running at 10:44 a.m. Jan. 12. The person inside the vehicle told police he had just stopped for a nap. Police told him to move on.

18 A diamond ring was stolen from an apartment at 1216 S. Grand Ave. sometime last August. The caller reported the theft at 2:45 p.m. Jan. 12.

19 A caller heard banging and arguing and thought a domestic disturbance was occurring at an apartment at 1707 Elder St. at 2:11 a.m. Jan. 13. Police determined there was no criteria for a domestic disturbance. A man and woman inside the apartment said the noise just came from the man falling and yelling afterward. He said his balance was off after taking pain medication he needs following back surgery. No medical attention was required.

20 A window of a skid loader was smashed at Sunset Homes Condominiums, 1440 Big Bend Road, prior to 8:35 a.m. Jan. 13.

21 A caller said he was punched in his face and choked by a friend at 716 John St. at 1:36 p.m. Jan. 13. The suspect was taken into custody.

22 An apartment was broken into at 338 Jackson Court and multiple items were stolen prior to 5:58 p.m. Jan. 13.

23 A mother and father were seen throwing items at and hitting their 14-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son in the 120 block of McCall Street at 2:20 a.m. Jan. 14.

24 A caller reported a homeless man was harassing employees and customers at Mama D's Coffee, 928 N. Hartwell Ave., on Jan. 14. He reportedly made a mess in the coffee shop and asked people for money and rides. An employee wasn't aware of the situation when police arrived.

25 A woman's purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle at 1163 W. Sunset Drive prior to 5:10 p.m. Jan. 14.

26 A man, reportedly impaired by crystal meth, was taken into custody after he caused a disturbance at the POParazzi popcorn shop, 271 W. Main St., at 8:08 p.m. Jan. 14. A caller said a male came in and was "strung out" on drugs. The caller said the man kept emptying his pockets into the trash and was reportedly throwing out cocaine and marijuana, along with his wallet. He then bolted out of the store before being located by police. He was taken to the hospital.

27 A cellphone was stolen from the Walmart Supercenter, 2000 S. West Ave., prior to 11:30 p.m. Jan. 14.
