for education practices
Catholic Memorial High School (CMH) has received 'Exemplary Recognition' from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee for 'Educating the Whole Student.'
The Exemplary Recognition Program, based on the national standards and benchmarks for effective Catholic elementary and secondary schools, honors schools that have demonstrated innovation and outstanding results in the areas of academic excellence, educating the whole student, mission and Catholic identity and technology integration.
Kathleen Cepelka, Archdiocese of Milwaukee superintendent of schools, notified school officials that CMH was the only high school to receive Exemplary Recognition.
CMH was also recognized for its successes within the criteria focusing on the Catholic culture that encourages the faculty to use the guidance of scripture and Catholic intellectual tradition in all subjects to help students think critically and ethically about the world.
