Public asked to vote
for SilverSneakers award
Waukesha resident William Sattler has been selected as one of the top 10 finalists for the 2016 SilverSneakers Fitness Richard L. Swanson Inspiration Award, honoring older adults for their dedication to fitness and overall well-being.
The national award winner will be selected by a public vote. Through July 15, the community is invited to vote at SilverSneakers.com/SwansonAward.
Sattler is always one of the first to arrive to a SilverSneakers class at Waukesha YMCA, and the first to volunteer his help, earning him the nickname 'Roadie' because he is always ready to assist others. Sattler knows who is missing from class, who is experiencing health issues and makes a point to regularly check in with fellow members.

GE Healthcare managers
earn Patriot Awards
Two managers at GE Healthcare in Waukesha have been honored by the Department of Defense for support of employees who serve in the Wisconsin National Guard and Reserve.
The Patriot Award was presented to Frank Childress and Trent Madison for their support of Capt. Mark Evert of the US Naval Reserves and Master Sgt. Ryan Pallo of the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
