Waukesha High School class of 1951 reunites

The Waukesha High School class of 1951 is planning a 65th reunion Friday and Saturday, Aug. 12-13. Friday morning breakfast is at 8:30 a.m. with the Blackshirt Breakfast Group at the Spot on Broadway, 500 E. Broadway, Waukesha.

Classmates will also meet for lunch Saturday at The Machine Shed, Tower Place, Pewaukee. Social time is at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at 1 p.m.

Parks department offers

free concert series

The Tribute Tuesday Concert series takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month, through Sept. 13, in Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha.

The free concerts include the Kenny Rogers tribute featuring Dave Karl on July 12, the Elvis Presley tribute featuring Joseph Hall on Aug. 9 and the Journey tribute featuring Separate Ways on Sept. 13.

The Waukesha Civic Band free summer concert series also plays in Cutler Park. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. Thursdays, through Aug. 11.
