The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for much of Southeastern Wisconsin for Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night.

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected across southern Wisconsin in the next day. Storms are expected to produce widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches; in some cases, localized rainfall of 5 inches will be possible.

In southeastern Wisconsin, affected areas include Dodge, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha.
