On Aug. 6, 2016, Good Harvest Market in Waukesha was a drop-off location for the second year in a row for the Waukesha County Backpack Coalition's "Fill the Bus" donation program.

Community members dropped off school supply donations, and shoppers had the option of donating five percent of their grocery savings to the cause during the 5&5 Day Sale.  Good Harvest donated five percent of grocery store sales, in addition to the monthly cafe tip jar donations, for a total of nearly $3,000.

Throughout the year, Good Harvest hosts events to benefit the local community.  The 5&5 Day Sale allows customers to save five percent on their total store purchase while an additional five percent of the day’s sales are donated to a local, nonprofit organization.

The Backpack Coalition distributes approximately 2,000 backpacks with grade-appropriate school supplies to students in grades kindergarten through 12th throughout Waukesha County. Backpacks and school supplies are provided free of charge from contributions donated by individuals, families, groups, churches and companies.

Good Harvest is located at 2205 Silvernail Road in the city of Waukesha.
