Over the summer, more than 800 area teachers attended Core Training at Milwaukee School of Engineering MSOE, where they learned the complete curriculum for a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) course.
PLTW provides rigorous and innovative STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education curricular programs used in schools. The hands-on, project-based program engages students on multiple levels, exposes them to areas of study that they typically do not pursue and provides a foundation and proven path to college and career success. For more information, visit www.pltw.org.
The following Waukesha teachers completed the training: Cassandra Bauknecht and Carly Salkowski, Waukesha Academy of Health Professions, Erik Hess, Waukesha School District, Matt Heuser, Waukesha STEM Academy, Brandon Rindfleisch, Catholic Memorial High School.
