Residents and business owners shouldn't be afraid if monsters – whether they be ghouls, zombies or vampires – come knocking at their doors this weekend. They're supposed to; it's Halloween.
In keeping with past years, Waukesha's trick-or-treating hours will run from 5 to 7 p.m. on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31. The hours are the same for both the city and the town.
Additionally, residents can try out their costumes, or wear completely different ones, a couple days earlier to participate in the annual downtown business trick-or-treat from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
