The Alzheimer’s Association will present “Effective Communication Strategies – When Caring for Someone with Dementia" from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 at the Aging & Disability Resource Center, 514 Riverview Ave., Waukesha.

The presentation will give families information about decoding verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, as well as new strategies and tools to communicate and connect at each stage of the disease.
