The Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books in Waukesha returns for its seventh year, Nov. 4 to 5 at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, 1500 N. University Drive.
Back by popular demand at the festival this year is the Cookbook Stage — panels featuring food and drink. This year, the stage's highlight is a screening of a film on Wisconsin supper clubs. For more information about the film, visit www.supperclubmovie.com.
The Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books spotlights writers who live in Wisconsin or are connected to the state, and will celebrate its seventh year with the theme "Roots and Branches," while also highlighting the 50th Anniversary of UW-Waukesha.
The Friday, Nov. 4 reception and keynote event is ticketed, while events on Saturday, Nov. 5 are free. Parking is free both days.
