The Women’s Philanthropic Club of Waukesha (formerly known as Altrusa) is selling pecans to fund its philanthropic efforts including providing scholarships to nontraditional female students at Waukesha County’s three colleges.

The unsalted, shelled, jumbo pecans halves can be used for baking or making spiced nuts, and were picked and shipped in November from Alabama. A one pound bag is $12.

Pecans can be purchased at the downtown Waukesha branch of Waukesha State Bank, 151 E. St. Paul. They can also be reserved by placing an order at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Foundation at 262-446-3328.
