Waukesha County Genealogical Society (WCGS) will host an evening with Bonnie Byrd, Waukesha County Museum Curator, Dec. 7.

Byrd will present a program on "who" and "what" started the early settlement of Waukesha county. Byrd's program will include artifacts.

The Society's business meeting is at 6:45 p.m., with the program starting immediately after (approximately 7 p.m.) at Southminster Presbyterian Church's Nelson Hall, 200 Richard St., Waukesha.

WCGS meetings are free to attend. Individual membership for the society is $12/year, and family membership is $15/year. The WCGS brings beginning and experienced genealogists together on a regular basis to meet, discuss and learn.
