1 Police spoke to the driver of a car that sped under a descending railroad barricade ahead of an oncoming train around 6:22 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 200 block of West Moreland Boulevard. The driver reportedly told police that he went under the gate because he "had been stuck for that train too many times." He was issued a citation, a police report said.

2 A woman asked police around 5:57 p.m. Feb. 4 to make an extra patrol check near her residence in the 900 block of Clinton Street because she said she heard "icky things" coming from behind a building after seeing several subjects running around. According to a police report, anyone behind the building was gone by the time police arrived.

3 A 68-year-old man suffered chest pains after he was involved in a multi-vehicle accident around 6:56 p.m. Feb. 4 near Camden Way and East Sunset Drive. No other injuries were mentioned in a police report. Three cars were towed away from the scene.

4 One man tackled another man in a fight about a woman around 10:46 p.m. Feb. 4 outside Meli, 294 W. Main St. According to a police report, the man who was tackled did not want to file a complaint. The man who tackled him, and his girlfriend, fled before police arrived, the report said.

5 A car drove seven mailboxes overnight Feb. 4-5 in the 1700 block of Robin Court near Wolf Road. A police report said officers found tire tracks there indicating a vehicle had jumped the curb, but could not find the car or driver responsible.

6 A woman told police she found a loaded gun on the ground outside her home in the 100 block of S. West Avenue and believed her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend put it there, possibly to intimidate her, around 2:29 p.m. Feb. 5. The woman found the gun in the street near her car, a police report said.

7 Police spoke to a woman around 4:49 p.m. Feb.5 who told them that her teenage daughter has been sending "inappropriate pictures and messages" to older men. According to a police report, the woman lives in the 400 block of East College Avenue.

8 A shouting match between a man and a woman in the 2100 block of Kensington Drive during the Super Bowl reportedly caused such a commotion that police came to mediate it around 8:29 p.m. Feb. 5. A police report said both the man and woman were intoxicated and agreed to separate for the night.

9 A 20-year-old man was rushed to the hospital around 4:14 a.m. Feb. 6 after he crashed an ATV-like vehicle into a light pole in the 3200 block of North Grandview Boulevard. According to a police report, the man's head went through the vehicle's windshield as a result of the accident. He had glass shards in his lip and forehead, and might have suffered a traumatic brain injury, the report said.

10 A 9-foot flag with the words "gift shop" on it was stolen prior to 2:27 p.m. Feb. 9 in the 500 block of North Grand Avenue. A police report said the caller who reported it just wanted officers to note the incident, and did not make a formal complaint.

11 A man told police two strangers walked into his apartment in the 100 block of West North Street around 1:57 a.m. Feb. 10 but didn't harm him or take anything. According to a police report, the man slipped out of his apartment when the two men entered it. Nothing was missing or rummaged through, the report said.

12 A 9-year-old boy threw a rock at a passing truck that cracked the truck's windshield around 1:19 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 1000 block of West Moreland Boulevard. A police report said the driver of the truck pulled over immediately after the incident and spoke to and exchanged information with the boy and his father. Both parties were advised the incident was a civil matter, the report said.

13 Police arrested a man who reportedly struck his wife in the face with a cane around 3:09 p.m. Feb. 10 inside their home in the 1600 block of Aldoro Drive. According to a police report, the victim locked herself in the bathroom shortly after the incident and was later taken to the hospital.

14 The fire department extinguished a garage fire around 3:52 p.m. Feb. 10 at a home in the 800 block of South Charles Street. Firefighters battled the blaze for about two hours, an incident report said. No one was injured.

15 A parked truck rolled from a resident's driveway into the street around 9:10 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 100 block of South Porter Avenue. According to a police report, the truck slid down the resident's driveway into the road, but did not hit anything or cause any damage.

16 A 21-year-old woman told police she was assaulted by her boyfriend and had to go to Waukesha Memorial Hospital, 725 American Ave., around 3:51 a.m. Feb. 11. A police report did not specify whether officers found the boyfriend.

17 A man suffered an unspecified head injury when he forgot to put his car in park and tried to reach inside it, while it was still moving, to grab something around 10:12 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 300 block of Delafield Street.

18 Police advised but did not cite two groups of teenagers who were "doing burnouts" in cars in the Pick ’n Save lot, 220 E. Sunset Drive, around 5:51 p.m. Feb. 11. An anonymous caller reported the incident, according to a police report.

19 A woman urinated in public while waiting with two other friends for an Uber driver to pick them up around 2:21 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 300 block of West Main Street. A police officer advised the woman not to do so in the future, a police report said.

20 A driver crashed their car into a tree but did not suffer any injuries in the accident around 5:44 a.m. Feb. 12 near Downing Drive and East Roberta Avenue. A police report did not specify whether any citations were issued.
