The 2017 National History Day in Wisconsin Eastern Regional contest sponsored by the Wisconsin Historical Society will be held Saturday, March 25, at Carroll University in Waukesha.
National History Day in Wisconsin is an academic enrichment program for students in grades six to 12. A project-based contest, students will demonstrate their historical research skills through one of five categories: documentary, exhibit, paper, performance and website. The 2017 theme is “Taking a Stand in History." Students enter their projects in local level contests, with the top entries advancing to regional, state/affiliate, and national levels.
Each National History Day in Wisconsin Program regional site is seeking volunteers to help support the event. Volunteer sign-up can be found at goo.gl/DIvFMj.
