Description by HAWS staff:

Clay is a 5-year-old pit mix who is as sweet as can be. He has been with HAWS since November, making him HAWS' longest-term dog resident. The shelter was a very scary place for him, but luckily there was a family who has been fostering since shortly after he came to to HAWS. He is a great boy that is good with cats and other dogs.  If you are interested, call the shelter to set up a meet and greet.

Hunter is a 4-year-old lab mix. He is in need of a diet so he can get his body back into shape. His new family will have to make sure they don’t leave good stuff on the counter, because he will help himself to anything that he can find. Since he is such a large boy, a home with small children would not be the best fit. He does get along with other dogs and cats as well.

The Humane Animal Welfare Society, 701 Northview Road, is open 1 to 6 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. For information, call (262) 542-8851 or visit www.hawspet.org.
