After more than a year of debates, speeches and rallies, Election Day is finally here.

In addition to the national and state races, there are also multiple referendum questions across the Milwaukee-Waukesha area that our reporters will be covering.

These include school-related referendums at the Arrowhead Union High School District, Oconomowoc Area School District, Germantown School District and Franklin Public Schools. The city of Delafield also has a referendum question on the ballot.

So after a record number of absentee votes in Wisconsin, what will happen today?

Follow our live Twitter stream as our editors and reporters tweet from the polls, provide updates on how Election Day is going in their communities and tweet out results on Tuesday night. The stream will open at 7 a.m., the same time polls open in Wisconsin, and stay open well past the polls close at 8 p.m.
