Players expected to begin the season on the disabled list
Every season, fantasy owners in just about every league have the same problem with their waiver claims leading up to the start of the season: How to replace players who will obviously start the season on the disabled list, but who aren't officially on the DL at the transaction deadline.
In the League of Alternative Baseball Reality (LABR), we have an official list of players who count as injured and can be dropped to pick up someone else, then when the DL move is made those players are returned to their original team's roster.

We've found this system is much more preferable to waiting until after the season starts and having the first round of pickups come before Week 2. Feel free to use the LABR list in your league. It will be updated constantly up until opening day.
