WAUKESHA: Explore the many facets of the art of photography with a variety of classes that give you the tools and skills to be a better photographer. Creating Stunning Slide Shows with Adobe Photoshop & Premier Elements 8

March 9-16, 2011 at 6:00PM - 9:00PM

Show off your digital photos with the state of the art Adobe Photoshop software. We will arrange, edit, add titles, music, graphics, transitions, and more using Adobe's Photoshop and Premier Elements 8. Leave with a finished slideshow DVD to take home and watch! Please bring all camera and downloading equipment or images on a CD, DVD or Flash/Jump drive to class. $79

 

Photography - Studio Lighting

March 17-24, 2011 at 6:00PM - 8:00PM

Learn the concepts and techniques of studio lighting in this intermediate class lead by Jeff Dobbs and Garry Bakic. Hands-on instruction from basic lighting concepts to Rembrandt portrait lighting. This class will be held at Mike Crivello's Camera Center and Lighting Studio, 18110 W. Bluemound Rd., Brookfield., WI 53045. Participants should bring their digital SLR camera gear. This class is limited to 15 students and is open to digital SLR cameras only. $99

 

Down & Dirty Basics of Loading & Downloading Pictures

In one session, learn how quick and easy it is to load and download your photos. Grandma and grandpa want to share pictures with family out of state? Be sharing pictures with family in no time! Check out the social networks: Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. What is it all about and how do you get started? Set up an account if you don't already have one. Learn how to make photo fixes and share those photos with family and friends through these social networks. Space is limited! $49

This class will cover flash types, flash maintenance, flash exposure, light modifying tools (i.e. soft-boxes and bounce tools), using multiple flash units wirelessly and much more. Digital Scrapbooking

March 30, 2011 - April 13, 2011 at 6:30PM - 9:00PM

Produce a unique online scrapbook that highlights your memories and mementoes using Photoshop Elements. Access to a version of Photoshop Elements on your home computer is necessary to complete class projects. Prerequisite: Introduction to Photoshop Elements class or consent of the instructor. $89

 

Continuing Photoshop/Photoshop Elements 8

March 28, 2011 - April 25, 2011 at 6:00PM - 8:30PM

March 29-April 26, 2011 at 6:30PM-9:00PM

Prerequisite: Intro to Photoshop Elements.
