The Waukesha Expo is in need of volunteer mobile meal drivers and meal packers. Volunteer Drivers deliver meals to homebound seniors Monday- Friday over the lunch hour. Volunteer packers pack meals from 9:30-11:00 Monday- Friday. Volunteer twice a month or once a week; schedules can be flexible and drivers are reimbursed for mileage. Are You A Night Owl? Pewaukee:
The Compassionate Care Team is looking for volunteers to provide vigil support to hospice patients during their final hours. The emphasis is on providing comfort during the dying process. Team members offer a supportive presence to those who are dying without family or loved ones available. Vigil Volunteer Support is requested on an as-needed basis (with respect to the volunteer's schedule & location). While we do our best to accommodate vigil requests any time of day, there is a great need for volunteers between the hours of 10pm-8am. Volunteers must be reliable, at least 18 years old and have completed the required training and orientation. Contact Hospice Advantage for more details.

Green Thumb? Waukesha:
Please help the Waukesha YMCA spruce up their exterior through cleaning up, planting and maintaining their landscape.. The Waukesha YMCA is looking for interested volunteers that will be able to work independently or in groups. There will be one major planting day, and then volunteers will sign up to help in maintaining gardens and planters throughout the warmer months. The Y is also seeking perennials and other donations of flowers and plants for this project. Should you be interested in donating, please contact Chrissy Sebald. This is a great opportunity for seniors, families, small groups and anyone with a green thumb! Contact the YMCA of Central Waukesha County for more details.
