Ten Chimneys' Response to World War II
Have you ever visited the National Historic Landmark that is practically in our backyard? Have you ever wanted to know more about Ten Chimneys and what possible role it played during World War II? Join the Waukesha County Genealogical Society on March 27th when we host Erika Laab who will answer this question.
Erika Laab, reservationist at Ten Chimneys Foundation, discusses the important role played by Ten Chimneys, the home of theater legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Both locally and overseas, the farm at Ten Chimneys was responsive to the needs brought on by World War II.
Meeting time 7:00 P.M. at Citizens Bank of Mukwonago, Waukesha Training Center, Hwy. 59 and Center Rd.
Meetings are FREE! Individual membership is $12/yr. The WCGS brings beginning and experienced genealogists together on a regular basis to meet, discuss, and learn. For more information visit www.rootsweb.com/~wiwcgs/
