State's Best Trap Shooters Return to Waukesha
Waukesha, WI – The Wisconsin Trapshooters Association welcomes trap shooters from around the region. Events will take place July 13-18, 2010 at the Waukesha Gun Club, located at N22 W23170 Watertown Road just west of Highway F. Many Competitors have been visiting Waukesha for more than 50 years to compete in the multi-day tournament. The Waukesha Gun Club is the largest shotgun only club in Wisconsin.
“As in previous years, the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association is proud to partner, once again, with the Waukesha Gun Club in hosting the 2010 Wisconsin State Shoot. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and welcome new participants to a variety of trapshooting events. We welcome visitors to watch our events, look over the Vendors Row, or maybe just have a sandwich," said Joe Zukowski, Past President of the WTA. The 2009 State event had nearly 1,200 participants, both adults and juniors, and organizers expect a similar turnout this year, each with the hope of capturing a portion of more than $30,000 in cash and prizes. All entrants must be current members of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA).
