“Casual Day for United Way on St. Patty’s Day” Endorsed by County Executive

March 10, 2010 | 0 comments

The second annual “Casual Day for United Way on St. Patty’s Day” has been endorsed by Waukesha County Executive Dan Vrakas as a countywide opportunity to raise funds on behalf of United Way in Waukesha County. Employers in every city, village, and town throughout the county are asked to recognize this fundraising special event on Wednesday, March 17 by allowing their employees to dress casual on St. Patrick’s Day for a nominal per person participant fee with proceeds to United Way in Waukesha County.

To participate in this grassroots effort, go to the United Way website, UnitedWayWaukesha.org, to download a “Casual Day for United Way on St. Patty’s Day” promotional flyer and a file to print labels for casual day participants to wear declaring their participation on March 17. Call United Way at (262) 547-8459 by March 26 to request a pick up of the donations collected, or mail them to United Way at P.O. Box 1041, Waukesha, 53187-1041.
