Waukesha County Park System’s Golf Courses Open March 18

Waukesha County’s Moor Downs Golf Course has opened for the 2010 season, on March 16. Moor Downs is located at 438 Prospect Avenue in Waukesha. You can reach Moor Downs at (262) 548-7821.

 

Naga-Waukee Golf Course and Wanaki Golf Course will open Thursday, March 18. Naga-Waukee is located ½ mile north of I-94 in Pewaukee, W307 N1897 Maple Avenue. Naga-Waukee’s phone number is (262) 367-2153. Wanaki Golf Course, located in the Village of Menomonee Falls, at N50 W20830 Lisbon Road. Wanaki’s phone number is (262) 252-3480. To reserve your tee time log on to www.waukeshacountyparks.com.

 

Golfers can now purchase a discount card to receive discounted prices on golf at all Waukesha County Courses. The discount card will be available to Waukesha County residents for $20, and nonresidents for $30.

 

Golfers will also receive a coupon package valued at over $70 with the purchase of the discount card. Purchasing a discount card will also give the golfer access to coupons or specials throughout the year.

 

To view rates or reserve a tee time, go to www.waukeshacountyparks.com. The Waukesha County Golf Courses are part of the Waukesha County Park System, which is a natural resource based park system that demonstrates stewardship while providing recreational and educational opportunities.

Waukesha Farmers' Market

The farmers' market in downtown Waukesha is the place to be from 7 a.m. to noon every Saturday from May 8 through Oct. 30. The Market is located in Riverfront Plaza, south of the Fox River, between Broadway and Barstow.
